That’s probably the best bet early, but if you’re near endgame, Ashina outskirts (near the chained ogre) is amazing (I collected over 700 oils by farming for xp there lol).

I did the hidden forest one, turn back grappling backstab a shadow (2480 xp on NG+4) A fairly early dunno for a first run. I needed 75k xp per level and farm 4-5 pretty nicely
