Can’T Apply A Rune To My Bow _ How to add sockets to your weapons and armor

Something that’s been bothering me. I can’t figure out how to remove Runes from gear I don’t want to use anymore. All I can do is swap them out for other runes. Anyone know how to just remove them? Your Mending + Infinity Bow will still work, you just can’t put Mending and Infinity on a single bow anymore after the update.
