Controller Location Not Showing On Map Or Compass

Markers may change due to map variation and no markers may be showing up for a particular quest because that thing or animal may not currently exist or cannot be found. you can sdisable extra quests just like in fallout 4 by going into your pip boy and unselecting things.

Yeah, BI are forcing us to learn the map, properly. I mean you get there eventually from repetition with a mini map but forced compass/scenery/map navigation only is pushing it sooner.
