Gauss, if you energy weapons skill is high enough. What do you think would be better: Pew pew with laser commander, finesse, better criticals, light touch, bloody mess (ofc), meltdown, just lucky I’m alive, all Lord death, fast reload perks; 1st recon beret Ulysses duster apparel; built to destroy trait; Lilly companion (plus 10% crit damage) and 10 luck or the alien blaster with the same perks that barely factor to it’s stats So far, I’ve trimmed down my list of planned builds to 19, getting rid of those that I don’t think would be as effective as others. Recently, someone suggested that certain builds I have planed could be combined. And now I’m thinking that maybe that would be a good idea. It would trim my list further. While they bring up some valid points, there is something to be said for a major build or two that basically turns anything that walks towards you menacingly into a bullet-time death second, but it’s apparently harder in New Vegas than in If all I have to do with the C-Finder is activate Helios One, direct the charge to the satellite and pull the trigger, why hadn’t Max (The child you bought it from) and Stacy (His friend) already fired the weapon? are there any that revamp the animations on every vanilla weapon? Flame-based weapons as soon as possible, and nothing else from then on. However, I need some help. 1) How should I distribute my S.P.E.C.I.A.L points to make this workable? 2) Skill point distribution? 3) What perks? 4) Possibly the most important one: Is this even viable? is it even possible to play with an Energy weapon at the beggining of the game? because I can’t find energy cells anywhere except merchants can I get a tip or something?

Collect energy weapons from fiends (or any other easy to farm high value items), and sell them at the Gun Runners for ammo. When they type of ammo you want is out of stock, go to novac or good springs to sleep for three days, and go back, ammo will be restocked. I played Fallout 3 years ago, I remember it being fairly challenging. Right now in NV I’m level 11, 50 gun profficiency 45 energy weapon proff. If attacked by a giant rad-scorpion, I have to run for high ground or I’m dead. I spent about 20 minutes reloading everyone and a save trying to kill 3 Mirelurks. In a battle with a legion commander, I can stand there and fire an assault rifle The Fallout universe features futuristic weapons (laser, plasma, electricity), but still primarily uses conventional firearms (bullets, slugs). I’m guessing energy weapons are more rare, because they were developed and introduced relatively late in-universe, and even then weren’t available to the general public, mainly being issued to the military (there was a war going on, after all). But I

Energy cells are heavy, but you only need to carry three types at most, and it is easier to switch to a better weapon as you find them. Guns need more kind of ammo but there are a lot more of them to choose from and the ammo types can make them more versatile. Both are good, by the way, since a well-built energy weapon char can match the devastation of any Fallout: New Vegas All Discussions Screenshots Artwork Broadcasts Videos News Guides Reviews energy weapons Fallout New Fallout: New Vegas > General Discussions > Topic Details spass3636 Sep 10, 2020 @ 3:21pm The tital says most of it when i get hit or kill any thing with an energy weapon the game crashes. What do you think the best option is? I try to keep a melee weapon at all times (in case I don’t want to waste ammo on easier enemies), but usually don’t want to carry an unrealistic amount of weapons (ex- having three rocket launchers as my primary weapon) I like the sci-fi-ness of Plasma Rifles and Gatling Lasers, but ballistics are also pretty reliable across all fields Fallout: New Vegas All Discussions Screenshots Artwork Broadcasts Videos News Guides Reviews they don t want Fallout: New Vegas > General Discussions > Topic Details Dikshit Koomar Mar 29, 2019 @ 12:33pm I never remember it being this bad. I started a new game and there have been several bullet sponges so far. A couple also have absurd chances to hit in VATS unless you are point blank. It goes from 10% a few feet a way to 95% when they are point blank. It’s insane going from 3 shots or less to kill most things to having a mob face tank 20 head shots. It’s not as in

Only 5 bullets, but if you spec well those five bullets will lay waste to everyone and everything. Quick tip – if in a big fight with lots of enemies try to fire all but one bullet and swap guns before the reload animation kicks in.

It’ll be a simple bullet time based on what we know, so if you meant that, you’ll have it. I did not read any details yet and I probably wont until release, it’s spoilers for me 🙂 Fallout had something like vats from the beginning, so I consider being able That s not something I to cripple limbs and shoot off body parts to be a vital part of Fallout. The reason I ask is because of this, the regular 5.56 has regular stats, BUT the .233 has .90 damage, with a .80 damage multipler, meaning you can overall, not per bullet, shoot more rounds out of your gun with .223 rounds. So I wanted to know, who if anyone, uses .233 over 5.56 in some cases where they don’t want to decay their gun as much. and the ammo types can Originally posted by psychotron666: Yeah gun runners hold all types of ammo, including energy. The old world blues dlc gives like so much energy ammo you don’t need to ever worry again, and the merchant machines in lonesome road sell energy ammo too. i dont have the dlc ,so no energy ammo at gun runners :/ #7 Milansta Mar 19, 2017

Hell, even if you knew all the properties of a bullet you still can’t say one is more powerful than another because some bullets are better against flesh (usually hollow points, larger bullets), some are better at armor penetration (a small, faster bullet can be much more effective here, like a Fallout: New Vegas All Discussions Screenshots Artwork Broadcasts Videos News Guides Reviews Fallout: New Vegas > General Discussions > Topic Details barry1kc Jun 8, 2024 @ 6:40pm

FNV Crashes when i get hit or kill any thing with an energy weapon

Hey y’all I’ve been having some trouble with some mods I’ve installed that’s caused some issues in my game or just aren’t applying properly. I have two armor mods called “Venomous Vipers (Viper Clan Overhaul)” and “Classic Fallout inspired Jackals – Armour only” that change the appearance of both raiders in game. I´ve just started to play Fallout and the character I have now is kind of a stealthy sniper type character. From Chet´s store in Goodsprings I can buy hollow point ammo but I was wondering if hollow point ammo can penetrate a human skull??

Depends on what you like. Dead money is my favorite by far but there’s many people who get filtered by it and hate it because there are hazards that are dangerous for any level character and has a different pace of game than the rest of the game, requiring you to observe your surroundings instead of walking straight through and tanking everything. Honest Powerful one handed guns in Fallout New Vegas. If you’re interested of ammo in other weapons check out my other Videos in the Fallout New Vegas weapon suite. The energy beam’s vapourisation bonus can reduce anything to ashes on a critical hit more often than the AM-rifle can, I’ve tried it. If you take the sniper, commando, laser comm perk and max charge packs into account (plus ED-E’s 5% dam bonus for beams) against the AM’s match ammo sniper commando traits, you will notice the beam’s

I guess something where things are less bullet-spongy any other easy to farm and where armor matters. Challenging but fun. I saw a playthrough of some person play FNV that was heavily modded, the combat seemed awful, had to use deadeye- or some other slowmotion trick to win a fire-fight. That’s not something I want.
