Here is what I learned over the last 6 months of crashing and how I stopped the BSOD crashes on my computer. So, I already got 400+ hours on this game on PC (this PC as well, never changed specs or whatever). But recently (I want to say 2-3 days ago), I fired up ESO and it did the first time set-up phase suddenly with the ’set Accessibility Mode‘ thing, select ‚NA server or EU‘ and the ’set Brightness‘ before I got into the main menu. The only thing I can do when this happens is press the power button on my PC. I’m not able to open task manager or anything. This has only started after installing the new update. I have all my add ons turned off when loading in and I’m in gamepad mode if that matters. I won’t be trying again since my computer gets completely
One thing is clear though: To play ESO via Steam I have to stop RivaTuner from running, or the ESO client crashes every time right after the Bethesda intro video.
