Game Freeze Around Ticonderoga! :: Fallout 4 General Discussions

Not sure what else to say. Ever 5 or 10 minutes the game freezes up and starts SCREAMING this weird buzz. it’ll last for a minute or two and then go back to normal. Is there a fix for this? Need Help with Operation Ticonderoga So far , I’ve been there , killed the courser and anything else in my way 4 times but the game doesn’t register I’ve actually gone to Ticonderoga . Is there a cheat code around this ? . Basically no matter what I tweak in the .ini settings, or with Nvidia Control Panel, the game drops from a solid 60fps, to around 10-25fps randomly and very regularly, and will freeze while doing so for 2-sometimes up to 10+ seconds.

Hey folks, so at the moment I am playing a heavily modded game, some 200+ or so mods. The game has been mostly crash free for the first 5+ hours of my playthrough but I am in the middle of a huge firefight near the big excavation (the one you drain) near Starlight Drive in. With my spawn mods active I have about 20-30+ bandits to deal with and its a blast what with Just got back into FO4 after a year off, and this is a new problem for me. SOME of the time, when I save, the game freezes. It doesn’t just CTD, it locks my whole system up, requiring a reboot. I’m playing a survival character for sometime and around 36 level i started to get freezes on vats. Dont know why and nothing worked out that i could get from internet. Any help? Unofficial fallout 4 patch crashes my game when i leave the vault and get too far away from the vault my game crashes when i have the mod enabled i have all the dlc and everything is in the right load order I experience crashes when trying to go in general area around Greentech Genetics building. Crashes happen every time, my drivers and game version is up to date.

I’ve seen this issue posted on forums as far back as 2016 but I have yet to see a consistent solution for it. I had this issue a lot when picked Fallout 4 back up again, but did something random that i can’t remember and it went away for a while. Just recently, it came back, happening on every single fast travel, and making my game unplayable (for me, I have no Desperate for a fix to this problem, which is present in most open-world games including oblivion on the lowest settings! ok I have seen there is safehouse names on the chalkboard in railroad hq I then looked it up on fallout 4 wiki and no info nothing on any search site like google or yahoo, what is Griswold safehouse,stanwix safehouse,Herkimer safehouse and why is there no info or anyone even asking about them and nothing about them on the fallout 4 steam forums?

Hey so i took the BOS ending and not the railroad and i was wondering if there was anyway i could get into the Ticonderoga Railroad safehouse even after i brutally murdered all the Railroad, heard there is a guns and bullets mag in there i would like, if there isnt a legit way in maybe someone could drop me the console command to get in/unlock the door Just got up to the brotherhood of steel mission were you need to board a vertibird for the first time, manage to get about half way through the flight then it crashes to the desktop at the exact same time everytime. Anyone else experience this? Any known fixes or am I going to have to wait for a patch to progress?

Title says it all basically every now and then the game would freeze for about 20 seconds. Sometimes when it freezes while walking around red rocket truck stop and pretty much anywhere, theres a small loading icon. I recently started playing Fallout 4 again on my save from around ~2016. I noticed that during combat, I’ll randomly freeze. By this I mean that my FPS drops from 60 (locked to 60 due to engine limitations) to 1-5 and stays that way for a couple of seconds per enemy in combat. Its clearly related to my save as I started another one to test if it would freeze there too, and it *Note had to move this because some started to flame fell for the bait and got off topic Fallout has random short freezes i saw a number of people fixed it by moving from there hdd to there ssd or vice versa but i only have one hard drive and its completely fine? other games that are just as new like for honor run prefectly at max. i’ve tried messeing with the nvidia settings I’ve updated my drivers. The game would run fine and smoothly all the time until I get into combat, where the game just ’stops responding‘ and I have to use task manager to close it and restart the game. Been playing on my main modded save recently and have been encountering a problem. The game will freeze, then CTD whenever nearing Downtown Boston (north of river, east of CIT Ruins). When I enter certain areas (specifically rooms) in the game, whether they have lts of stuff going on (pack of ghouls) or nothing going on (everything is dead), the game will freeze for about 1-3 seconds, the HUD changes color super fast (it doesn’t do this after Fallout downloaded whatever it was it downloaded, but my HUD got reset Since the NG Update, my game constantly close it freezes when i use fast travel, i verified game’s archives, i reinstaled the game, i deactivate all my mods but nothing worked, does anyone knowns how to fix this, is very annoying that i can’t use fast travel -title- You know since I’ve had it with Raiders, Ghouls, Gunners, or Super Mutants. Does anyone know how to turn the music off other than re starting your computer again after a crash or a freeze ? If I get a random freeze or crash the audio music from the game is still playing >_< and normally need to restart my game, ..
