The question of whether or not Spider-Man can wield Thor’s Mjolnir has always been a topic of discussion for the fandom. Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir, cannot be lifted by any living being unless they are deemed worthy to wield it. How does Mjolnir determine worthiness? Everyone from Iron Man and Loki to an unassuming car mechanic in Oklahoma has been able to wield Mjolnir for themselves while Thor has quietly found the hammer growing progressively heavier for him to lift.

Cap delivered the hammer to Thor and the tide of the battle had shifted. Once it was over, Thor realized that he couldn’t very well doubt Cap anymore after seeing him be worthy enough to wield Mjolnir In the years since, Thor has generally been closer to Cap than Iron Man in the comics and this story was a major turning point in
Other than Thor, some others who have been able to wield Mjolnir include: Awesome Android, Beta Ray Bill, Captain America, Jane Foster, Red Norvell, Thunderstrike, and Wonder Man. Although Captain America is the only other Avenger to lift Mjolnir in the MCU, these characters could potentially do so in the near future.
Iron man had always put his life on the line starting from Iron man 1, Avengers, Age oh Ultron and Endgame already proving so many times that he should be worthy. Captain America has never really gone through the act of putting himself out for sacrificing more than Iron man has. * Also, since a few people have mentioned it, I said I better amend this and add this second note. I am aware in the comics that Captain America is able to wield Mjolnir, but in this he isn’t, because for once, Bruce deserves to be the worthy one. Thor is a powerful hero, but most of that power comes from Mjolnir. Asgard’s greatest weapon has been wielded by Odin and Jane Foster, but Thor Odinson has proven to be its most skilled wielder. Odin sets an enchantment on the hammer, stipulating only those who were worthy of it could lift it. Since then, heroes and villains alike have tried to wield Mjolnir.
Conclusion In conclusion, while many Avengers have attempted to lift Mjolnir, only a few have demonstrated the worthiness to wield the hammer. Captain America and Black Widow are the most notable examples of worthy Avengers, while others like Iron Man, Thor, and Spider-Man have also shown potential. It should come as no surprise that Odin can and has picked up Mjolnir on numerous occasions – seeing as he was the one who had it made in the first place, and it’s his enchantment have also that determines who is worthy enough to wield it. Odin has lifted the hammer on numerous occasions, and one of the most notable times is when Beta Ray Bill entered the picture. In Avengers movie, Thor attacked Captain America with Mjolnir. It’s curious if this arc will still be tackled in the threequel considering the recent casting additions for the film, but it could be a great way to ground Spider-Man after his galactic adventures in the Infinity Saga. More: Iron Man Should Have Been Worthy To Wield Mjolnir (Because Of Cap) However, there does certainly appear to be more to being worthy than to wield Mjolnir for just willing to sacrifice yourself for the good of others. Remember in The Avengers Tony pretty much sacrificed himself by carrying the nuke through the wormhole, yet in Avengers: Age of Ultron he was not able to lift Mjolnir. In „Avengers: Age of Ultron,“ the Avengers tried to see who was really worthy of wielding Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. Now, we know.
It turns out the enchantment on Mjolnir preventing the unworthy from picking up the hammer had broken. While Thor granted Adam the chance to fly in his transformed state, Adam surrendered the power back to Thor willingly. Adam might not have been worthy, but it was certainly in good hands. But what about someone who surely couldn’t [MCU] Hammer Physics: Could Vision lift Mjölnir because he was worthy or because he was a robot? In that case, would Ultron have been able to lift it? Would a Hulkbuster or Iron Man Suit be able to wield Stormbreaker without going insane?
While the Odinson might be the best wielder of Mjolnir, many characters have been just as worthy to bring the thunder. Recently saw Thor 1 and asked myself if Infinity War Loki or 2012 Variant Loki were finally worthy enough to or inanimate objects i wield it, and if there’s chance for a Thor/Loki reunion he should have the chance to probe it. Captain America couldn’t wield Mjolnir prior to Endgame because he kept Bucky’s secret. Here’s why the other Avengers aren’t worthy.
Avengers: Endgame once again raises the question of who else besides Thor can use Mjolnir, a magically heavy hammer that can summon lightning. In Marvel Comics history, it’s a tricky question
Spider-man actually has a little too much willpower, the reason he can’t lift the hammer is that he refuses to kill. If he were willing to give in mjolnir would happily be the weapon used to cave in norman osbornes skull, but because he refuses to kill, he’s not worthy Reply reply darkmatter4925 • Why is Captain America worthy and not Iron Man? That’s because Cap is being held to a different standard than you or I would hold him to. A standard determined by Odin, who placed the enchantment on the hammer. The thing to understand is that ‘worthiness’ as it pertains to Mjolnir, is determined by the standards of Odin and Asgard, not our own human perceptions.
[MCU] Why couldn’t Stan Lee’s pickup truck move Mjolnir in Thor (2011) when it’s been established that the rules don’t apply to machines or inanimate objects (i.e. Vision, Coat Rack, Elevator, etc.)
So Batman could make a robotic glove with a worthy AI in it. He can’t wield Mjolnir directly but he can wield worthy wielders who wield the warhammer. for bonus points, use a copy of the Vision, call it the Touch, and integrate speakers to play Stan Bush while wielding it. First off, it is worth mentioning that a fellow superhero lifting Mjolnir clearly was a big deal in 1988. The first superhero to nominally lift Thor’s hammer was Iron Man, in Avengers #122 (by Steve Englehart, Bob Brown of the battle had and Mike Esposito), but that was through the two major loopholes: You can lift it without being „worthy“ if Thor is also holding onto it; and you can lift it Mjolnir is affected by gravity. Iron Man once was able to move mjolnir in space when it was floating there but as soon as he got to close to Earth he could no longer control it because gravity pulled it in. Magneto has been shown to move it with his powers. But he can’t gain the power of Thor because he is not worthy. Reply reply
Hulk was not worthy nor could actually lift it from the ground on his own. That said, I thought that was a stupid work around. The enchantment prevents wielding prevents wielding not not lifting. Even in space Hulk should not have been able to wield Mjolnir it should’ve frozen in place or transport itself to the nearest planet or something.
There have been exploitations where a being threw Thor around because he was still holding Mjolnir. One or two of the Everyone from Iron varying Hulks have done it; grab the hammer with a whole hand around Thor’s fist so he can’t let go, and then use
