Built in 1931 as private yacht Hussar II by the Germania yard in Kiel for New York financier Edward Hutton. He meant it as a wedding present for his wife, Marjorie Merriweather Post. The couple divorced in 1935, and Marjorie kept the yacht, but renamed her Sea Cloud. In 52 she went to Dominican dictator Trujillo, and was renamed Angelita.
